We’re not quite half way through the season but if anyone hasn’t noticed….if the Div 1 firsts stay in the bottom two and the Div 3 firsts stay in the top two then we’ll all be playing in Div 2 next year. Yikes.

Round 7 O35 Div 1 Firsts – North Sydney 1 Hornsby Heights 3 (17 May)

Another game that we should have got something from.  Comfortable at the back in the first half, we gave a goal away when hughsie was blinded by the low sun and stood rooted to the spot as their player nipped in front and headed a free kick past him.  We generally dominated play and should have been on the scoresheet but as per usual it was not to be.

After a week of confusion with the KDSA changing our game from Sunday to Saturday and then back to Sunday, we found ourselves down at Primrose for the first time this season.

Round 6 O35 Div 1 Firsts – North Sydney 0 Wahroonga 2 (11 May)

Primrose Park on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Dogs barking, children playing, and a gentle game of football in progress between the Old Men of North Sydney and the Old Men of Wahroonga. It’s the second half and the visitors from up north are hanging on to a slender 1-0 lead.
